CHRISTIANITY / PROPHETIC DREAMS / END-TIMES
Pastor Dava Coverstone often has prophetic dreams, as they all seem to have something to do with either current events, or the end-times. This one definitely seems like it concerns the end-times.
Here's a summary of what Dana saw in his dream:
1. Went to a fireworks show in a 1980's era station wagon. Took his family. His kids were much younger in this dream than their actual ages now.
2. Noise like a bomb, not apart of the show! Huge flashes of light appearing in the sky, and debris falling from the sky.
3. Announcer comes on the PA, says the problem will be remedied soon....
4. People were catching on fire from debris falling from the sky. Cars in the parking area were catching fire.
5. People running, screaming, running for their lives.
6. The pastor and his family gets into the station wagon, and tries to drive away. People were banging on the windows, trying to get the pastor to take them away in his car.
7. Houses burning, cars abandoned, sky alive with both fire and darkness. Cars hiding under overpasses.
8. Nobody had any idea as to what is going on! Absolutely none!
9. Chaos everywhere. Pastor Dana finally gets home, and turns on the TV. No mention of WAR. The TV news people had no idea what was going on.
10. WE ARE GOING LIVE IN 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 -- He sees Jesus on the TV.
11. "9-1-1- calls have overwhelmed the entire system."
12. "IT IS WORSE THAN YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD BE." Jesus begins to cry.
13. Then Jesus says:
"DON'T LEAVE YOUR FIRST LOVE,
"DON'T FEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO SUFFER.
"STAY REPENTANT IN THE CENTER OF THE WHEEL.
"OVERCOME. WALK THROUGH THE OPEN DOOR. STAY DISCIPLINED.
"I WILL WALK BESIDE YOU THROUGH PERSECUTION AND PAIN.
"MANY WILL SAY THAT IT IS WORSE THAN THEY THOUGHT IT WOULD BE, AND THEY WILL BE RIGHT.
"SO REMAIN HARD BRACED AND BATTLE READY.
"I AM COMING AND MY REWARD IS WITH ME.
"I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, AND AS FAR AS TO YOUR END.
"THESE ARE THE HARD FACTS IN THE NEWS AS I'M REPORTING IT TO YOU IN LIVING COLOR."
14. Pastor Dana turns off the TV. He gathers his family in a circle to pray.
15. Pastor Dana here's a knock at the door, goes and opens the door of his house, and it's a group of families seeking refuge! He invites them into his house.
16. A little girl walks into the house, and promptly states: "I feel better in here, than I did out there!"
Here's what I'm getting as an interpretation of this dream.
First of all, a few scriptures:
"17 The flood continued forty days on the earth. The waters increased and bore up the ark, and it rose high above the earth. 18 The waters prevailed and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the face of the waters. 19 And the waters prevailed so mightily on the earth that all the high mountains under the whole heaven were covered. 20 The waters prevailed above the mountains, covering them fifteen cubits deep. 21 And all flesh died that moved on the earth, birds, livestock, beasts, all swarming creatures that swarm on the earth, and all mankind. 22 Everything on the dry land in whose nostrils was the breath of life died. 23 He blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark. 24 And the waters prevailed on the earth 150 days."
- Genesis 7:17-24 ESV
12 Then the men said to Lot, “Have you anyone else here? Sons-in-law, sons, daughters, or anyone you have in the city, bring them out of the place. 13 For we are about to destroy this place, because the outcry against its people has become great before the Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it.” 14 So Lot went out and said to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters, “Up! Get out of this place, for the Lord is about to destroy the city.” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be jesting.
15 As morning dawned, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be swept away in the punishment of the city.” 16 But he lingered. So the men seized him and his wife and his two daughters by the hand, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city. 17 And as they brought them out, one said, “Escape for your life. Do not look back or stop anywhere in the valley. Escape to the hills, lest you be swept away.” 18 And Lot said to them, “Oh, no, my lords. 19 Behold, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have shown me great kindness in saving my life. But I cannot escape to the hills, lest the disaster overtake me and I die. 20 Behold, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one. Let me escape there—is it not a little one?—and my life will be saved!” 21 He said to him, “Behold, I grant you this favor also, that I will not overthrow the city of which you have spoken. 22 Escape there quickly, for I can do nothing till you arrive there.” Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
23 The sun had risen on the earth when Lot came to Zoar. 24 Then the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the Lord out of heaven. 25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the valley, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground. 26 But Lot's wife, behind him, looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.
- Genesis 19:12-26 ESV
36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. 37 For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, 39 and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left. 42 Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. 47 Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions. 48 But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants and eats and drinks with drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know 51 and will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 24:36-51 ESV
Pastor Dana and his family getting into the station wagon and going off to see the fireworks, like so many families do on the fourth of July, represents the pride and honor that we have living in the USA. The Fourth of July has become like the OT "Feast of Tabernacles" in that we all gather together in community in celebration. It is truly a secular Holy Day. But we are not coming together on that day to honor God, but rather we come together to honor our country. That is not a bad thing, but if the country should start turning to evil...well...an innocent and fun trip to see the fireworks then becomes a trip to honor apostasy.
The station wagon with your family in it represents your church and ministry. Something that was taught by the church fathers long ago is that the the church of Jesus Christ is the "ark" that God has sent to save people from destruction. Our churches and our ministries are the "arks" that will save us from the destruction that comes from God. Those who don't have their own "ark" will be banging on the doors of those of us who do. Count on it!
And that fire from the sky, and that falling debris: just look at Sodom and Gomorrah. The fact that NO ONE knew what was going on, and the news reporters had no idea what was happening, is a sign that what you saw was not of human origin. It was the judgement of God. And it is judgment that will bring destruction. Just as God sent fire from heaven down on Sodom and Gomorrah, he can send destruction down upon us.
But God does not desire for this judgment to come upon believers. Hence Pastor Dana's safety that he found in his car and his house. God will be able to guide his judgments on those who deserve them.
The most important part of these dreams is when "the man" speaks. And what he's saying should send chills down our spine, because he's warning BELIEVERS in this TV broadcast, and it should be taken with utmost seriousness.
WE WILL BE PERSECUTED UNTO DEATH. WE WILL SUFFER. WE WILL BE ATTACKED. Not by God, but by the hands of unbelievers. Just as Jesus himself, and all the early church was persecuted, so it will happen to us. We MUST make up our minds to be ready for that persecution right now. Don't blame God if evil men want to kill you, he's warning you in advance.
For some odd reason, I did not see this video on my feed until March 28. On March 27, 2023, we were all talking about the young woman who walked into a CHRISTIAN SCHOOL in Nashville and opened fire, killing six people. Most of us realized right away that this school was a deliberate target of this woman. The fact that she was a member of the LGBT movement is not surprising, remember Sodom and Gomorrah!
The LGBT people absolutely hate the church, hate Jesus, and do want us dead. Anyone who spends time doing research online into current events have come across their hateful, evil rhetoric. Don't be surprised to see more killings like this, and then for Christians to be blamed for the attacks! Right now, the LGBT community and their supporters are BLAMING REPUBLICANS for the killings, because the state of Tennessee enacted laws to ban the practice of gender transitions just a few weeks prior to this. The LGBT people see this as persecution.
MANY WILL SAY THAT IT IS WORSE THAN THEY THOUGHT IT WOULD BE, AND THEY WILL BE RIGHT.
The coming judgement will be worse than many people thought. But also, the coming persecution of Christians, on a scale never seen before in history, is going to be worse than we thought. That is why Jesus is going to great lengths to warn us ahead of time.
When a little girl walks into Dana's house, and tells him that she likes it better in his house than what's outside, it's simply a statement that our churches and ministries will be "arks" for those who want to escape the coming judgment. Souls will be saved right up to the very end. And we will have a job to do and a mission to complete right up to the very end.
“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes."
