CHRISTIANITY / COMMENCEMENT

An absolutely outstanding commencement speech by Bishop Robert Barron.   You know things are getting close to the end-times when a famous Catholic bishop gives the commencement address at a Baptist college.

This is a short video, and well worth watching entirely.

Say hello to my new little friend....

PHOTOS / DINOSAURS / MONOLOPHOSAURUS

My newest addition to my dinosaur collection is a Monolophosaurus from the German toy company Schleich.

The Monolophosaurus is easy to identify by the long crest on the back of its nose, giving it a fearsome appearance. Like a dragon, spikes run from the tip of its head to the tip of its tail. I wonder if it will stay calm. This dinosaur belongs to the family of lizard-hipped dinosaurs. It is probably looking for food right now. It walks along the shore on its strong legs looking for prey. Better not disturb it!

I get most of my dinosaurs from Farm & Fleet, but Barnes & Noble is another source I use.

RECIPES / CHICKEN / CHICKEN PARMESAN

Saw this recipe come across my YouTube feed, and I knew I had to make it.   It was AMAZING.  Really nice and crispy chicken.   You don't even need the sauce and cheese, the breaded chicken cutlets would be fine all by themselves!

The simple sauce Ashley makes using canned tomatoes was very tasty.   As a matter of fact, it was so good that I cooked up a batch of fresh linguine and used the sauce for the noodles.   It was wonderful!

Highly recommended.

Congressman Issues Subpoena to FBI Director Following the Targeting of Catholics | EWTN News Nightly

CHRISTIANITY / PERSECUTION

This is very, very concerning.  The FBI is targeting Catholics using the excuse of "terrorism".   You can't make this stuff up.

A member of Congress from Ohio has issued a subpoena to FBI Director Christopher Wray. Republican Jim Jordan says he wants answers about a since withdrawn memo from the FBI's Richmond office. The letter focused on alleged extremism within the US Catholic Church. According to Representative Jordan, the bureau was targeting Catholics and seeking to use churches in part "as potential sources to monitor and report on their parishioners." President of Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio, Fr. Dave Pivonka, joins to share his reaction to Representative Jordan's push demanding answers about this memo. Fr. Pivonka tells us his thoughts on the push to target Catholic churches. He discusses why he thinks this memo specifically mentioned Catholics and what that signals. Another story in the news, military hospital Walter Reed canceled its Catholic pastoral services provided by Franciscan friars. Now, a secular non-profit will provide pastoral care. Fr. Pivonka helps us unpack this and why it could be problematic for Catholic patients.

JORDAN B. PETERSON / TRANSGENDER MOVEMENT / MIRIAM GROSSMAN

This is an amazing MUST WATCH interview between Jordan Peterson and Miriam Grossman.   The subject is the politicization of the the science of psychology, and how it's now an ideological movement devoid of logic, ethics, or science itself.

Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and Miriam Grossman discuss the grief and trauma associated with the Transgender movement, not just for those transitioning, but for the parents and families who now find themselves shunned and alienated if they refuse to affirm their own child's delusion. They also go into detail on the history of the ideology, the monstrosity of Dr. John Money, and his horrendous failed experiment on which he built his doctrines.

Miriam Grossman MD is a physician, author, and public speaker. Before gender ideology was on anyone’s radar, she warned parents about its dangers in her 2009 book, “You’re Teaching My Child WHAT?” Dr. Grossman has been vocal for many years about the capture of her profession by ideologues, leading to dangerous and experimental treatments on children and betrayal of parents. Dr. Grossman was featured in the Daily Wire’s hit documentary “What Is A Woman?” The author of four books, her work has been translated into eleven languages. After graduating with honors from Bryn Mawr College, Dr. Grossman attended New York University Medical School. She completed an internship in pediatrics at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City, and a residency in psychiatry through Cornell University Medical College, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Grossman is board certified in psychiatry and in the sub-specialty of child and adolescent psychiatry.
